Article Marketing Why Are Articles The Best Form of Traffic?

Article marketing produces some of the very best traffic you can possibly ask for. Why is that? Well think about this. If 100 people read an article, only about 3-5% will click through to the average link. So there is already a screening process in action. So instead of paying for 100 PPC leads, you only get the 3-5 people who liked what you had to say in the article.

They read your article, liked what you had to say, and clicked on your link. This makes them a much more qualified lead than someone who clicked through a PPC link who was incentivized to come to your site because you want your conversion rate to be high for your PPC to keep your price down. But you are really getting a bunch of people who shouldnt even be at your site anyhow.

Now the next step of course, is, how to monetize that traffic. No matter how good your traffic is, you have to monetize it for you to realize anything.

I personally think that the best way to continue to monetize that traffic is to convert it to a subscriber. The advantage to having a subscriber versus a visitor to your web site that might bookmark your page is that the subscriber can continue to grow closer to you as you communicate with your subscriber. When you focus on subscribers instead of sales up front, you are building for the future and the future revenue stream of a subscriber is certainly higher than that of the one-time sale.

And that subscriber will much more quickly trust you if they have come from an article of yours. They were directly referred by you. And that is really big.

You are the best referrer there could possibly be.
