Squidoo is a new Internet venue that is gaining in popularity. Squidoo is an online network that offers to its users what it calls lenses. At Squidoo, a so-called lens is a single page that highlights a users particular expertise, recommendations -- truly, nearly anything can be placed and included on a Squidoo lens. Although less than two years in operation, the Squidoo community of participants is growing by leaps and bounds.
What is important to understand and remember about Squidoo is that an individual lens does not contain or maintain a great deal of content -- if any at all. Through a lens you can focus on your website as a whole or you can focus on one of the particular elements of your own website. In either instance, you will be able to draw more visitors to your website. You will have the opportunity to rather significantly expand the exposure that your website receives.

Through Squidoo, you can establish a lens (a page) that can provide teaser information and materials that will point someone directly to your own website venue.
